Fade Unsuccessful

i am new to this site but have been lurking for a while now.

i have not told my story yet because i am in the middle of a situation i had hoped to avoid.

my wife is still a jw in good standing, my two sons were dfd a year ago.

The organization seems to not allow normal imperfections that your sons probably are going threw! As far as your wife finding a book written by Franz she should be happy it was not anything marital shattering! How dare her go to the elders that is silly and makes her untrustworthy, she married to you not the elders!

It is time for you to stand up! That book is not a book you should feel ashamed about or be punished for reading! and your wife should keep her mouth shut! You need to set an example for your children!

An email from my Dad on Bible Chronology - Armegeddon's arrival

i cannot provide any background info on my dad except to say that he is not an attender anymore, but is not apostate.. years ago, my dad showed me why he thought 1975 was wrong, and he gave me a date like 2011, 2012...back in 2004.. it actually made sense to me back then, and obve's posts reminded me of my dad's calculations..... only my dad's calculations were not based on addition or multiplying of random crazy numbers, .

but actually were logical assumptions based on the scriptures as he understood them.. here is his email to me...it might be lengthy, but it is easy to follow and understand.

Do you get emails from you dad just to say hello and let do lunch? It all stems around preaching! Anyhow, preaching or not you must be nice to have his letters! As far a Psalms 110:1 I wonder why the JW think this is about Jehovah speaking to Jesus?

LOL, even when one attends the meetings, one needs to watch who they are sitting with because they have to becarefull with sheeps in wolves clothing! Can you imagine that! watching other dedicated members who might not be sheep but wolves! Sounds like we were all taught to be judgemental! It is a doctrine to be judgemental of others and it also does not allow close trust worthy friendships to develope.

Yeap! your dad was a JDUB! One must stick with the faulty Facts! AS if it were a matter of fact! I liked his reasoning! but the best was no one knows the day or hour! We are so brained washed into looking into chronology! I wonder if the rest of his dates stemed from Russell's writings and he just did not know it! That would be from the Chart of the Ages. Measuring inch for a year! LOL. Which is not even bibical stuff just garbage! In th e 1900s, people did came up with these caculation to win money from a college institution who wanted people to submit something scientific to the college. Newton wrote a book stated that Solomon's bibical temple was perfect and therefore they were made from God's perfect numbers. Okay his reasoning was good! Everyone went to town to win this money! Russell and a few of the idiots prior to Russell submitted there papers! Let measure a real pyramid and state they are God's numbers. To think how we were all brained washed into these dates and did not know there background! history. I wanted to add Adam's creation was 4026 years? Did you see if it is in the Finished Mystery book? LOL they cant even figure out Noah's flood date so how could he figure out Adam's creation date! He probably took it from the JDUBS who borrowed it from Russell's writings. He measured the pyramids to get this date. A inch for a year! Yeap, big thing in the late 1900's.

Something else, in order to be a Freemason one must write a book and do a business in the world. Newton's book could have been part of his links to Freemason's so he could become a 33 or 3rd degree mason. That would make sense that later, people would want to copy the Alchemist! but it was a too strange so unlike Newton reasoning skills. Russell, Smyth, and Mizer were just NUTS! YOU can not measure a temple based on false gods to get divine truths and chronology of mans lifespan! It bull crap at it best! But one must have followers to succeed! So really does you dad know where he got his 4026 date? He did he take it as a matter of fact from the WTBTS! LOL. They sure did make me do this a lot when I was a kid in the 60s.

Well that is a change they do not know when the choosen of the anointed ended! page 2.Well then why do they makes such a big issue about people partaking at the memorial? Now, that is a new thought! because the last time I went to memorial they made it clear that they already knew who the 144,000 are and probably there were not any new partakers at our memorial! Everyone laughed and no one partook!

That is one big lie right off the get go and they know it! First of all YOU would need to know when Christ was born? Do you have a WT on that topic? YOU would need to know when Herod the Great died? Do you have a WT on about Herod the Great's death? Then they would have to know when Christ was baptized! Do you have a WT on that date? OH caculate his resurrection and days prior to his ascending up into heavens! Bingo! Can you come up with the WT Atalantis?

Well if they lie in the first paragraph then the rest is fiction!

They are so stupid! just to answer that question given their history!

New understanding of generation: Another repeat of 1914

no, this is not another thread on who said what at the annual meeting but.... i had a thought that what the gb are doing is resurrecting the old 1914 doctrine.

well, even though they left the door open for more anointed to join, the average age of the remnant must be in the 80s.. .

what's the difference between this understanding and the 1914 generation?

Hmm, interesting thought! Age is about right, in there 80s if they were at the age of understanding 14 years of age added to 1914. Urgency, well that makes sense for dysfunctional people sitting around focusing on the end to come and worrying about family members not being in the truth! when they should be enjoying life! Oh well let the dead worry about dead things. In reality that end did come in 70 A.D.

Annual Bethel Meeting

my parents just came back from the annual bethel meeting in brooklyn.

they said only 3 of the gb were there.

Yeah! that term apostate is a hard one! Even the dictionary meaning I think is different than the bible. I think the bible is someone who goes against Christ, instead of someone who leaves their congregations. Prior to Jehovah Witness, I wonder what religion did your parents belong? If they belong to another religion that would make them an apostate! Who chooses who is an apostate? man or Jesus? I think Jesus! It really is wrong to MARK people with this name! That like calling someone the antichrist! Anyhow, I bet it was a cuss word in Paul's time. I resent the misuse of this word from the WTBTS and their followers. Here, I do not care. LOL

Hello! I got that covered but no cd here or books to prove it! I got rid of books! This really shocked me! The Jehovah's Witnesses think when the go door to door they are fullfilling the scripture about the man with the inkhorn, you know the one who goes out and marks people to rightoueness. Today they believe that when the go door to door they are marking people to righteous if people take the WT/AK anyhow, but if they do not take them? Off to judgement with Jesus Christ! In the Revelation It Grand Climax Is At Hand it say they are prophets! Ekkks. I knew nothing about this until after I got reinstated! Now when I see a JDUB going out in service the above is what I think about. Oh and the man with the secratary's inkhorn went back to heaven his work was done! that was it! Another thing the only one can mark you as right is Jehovah because someone called Jesus righteous and he said no one was righteous but the Father!
